Estates, visits, and the visit summary
Every estate broken down into the things that need looking after, a checklist for every visit, and a summary that goes to the owner once the work is done.
This is where the changelog starts. Steadwell now has the pieces a firm needs to run a visit end to end: a model of the estate, a checklist for the day, and a way to tell the owner what happened.
The estate, piece by piece
An estate is no longer one record. It is a tree of assets: the house, its systems, the equipment inside them, and the grounds around them. Tasks, schedules, photos, and contacts attach to the asset they belong to, so the checklist on a visit reads room by room instead of as one long list.
The visit
Each estate has a visit page with the checklist for the day. The concierge completes or skips each task, adds notes and photos, and closes the visit out when the work is done. Anything spotted along the way can be filed as a new task for this visit or the next one.
Tasks that belong to a person
Any task can be assigned to a specific member of the firm, not just the estate’s concierge. Each member has a My Tasks panel on their home screen, and admins have a Tasks page covering the whole firm with search, filters, and sorting.
The visit summary
Once a visit is closed out, the concierge or an admin curates what the owner should see: which completed tasks to include, how to word each one, which photos to attach, and a note. Send it and each owner on the estate receives their own copy. The summary locks once sent, so what the owner read is always what is on record.
